Pearls for Management of Common UE Nerve Compression Pathologies

This presentation will review common UE peripheral nerve injuries. Focus will be on how to safely assess and treat functional limitations and occupational performance issues associated with these pathologies and when to refer these clients to a specialist.

Learning Objectives

Participants will:

  • Recognize the most common upper extremity peripheral nerve injuries, including carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome.
  • Apply evidence-based interventions to address occupational performance deficits caused by mild to moderate upper extremity nerve compression syndromes
  • Identify upper extremity nerve pathologies that necessitate specialized assessment and intervention.
Presenter: Anne Moscony
